Seared Asian Whaoo

My husband went fishing and brought home some fresh Wahoo!!!! It's so good fresh out of the water with just a little seasoning and searing it.


Seared Asian Wahoo:

1lb wahoo, cut in 1/2-1 inch steaks
1/2 cup ponzu sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
sesame oil
2tbsp olive oil

Marinate whaoo in ponzu and soy sauces.
Heat skillet to medium heat with olive oil. Cook on each side to desired temperature. You can eat rare. I like it medium well - well though. While still hot drizzle with sesame oil and if you want you can add sesame seed I just cant eat them.
I served it with sauteed asparagus and jasmine rice.You can dip in extra ponzu or soy sauce if you want.
Very easy and healthy.
