Italian Meatballs

My husband asked me to make homemade meatballs and spaghetti. This was a first for me but I see them do it on TV all the time so how hard could it be? Not hard at all come to find out! I didn't get a finished photo because we all dug in and it was to late... oops!

Italian Meatballs:
1lb Ground chuck
1/2lb Italian sausage
1/3 cup cheese (Pram would be best but I didn't have any so I used a mozzarella cheese stick and a piece of provolone lol)

1 large clove garlic, minced 
1/4 cup fresh parsley
1tsp dried basil 
Pinch of red pepper flakes
1tsp sea salt
1/4 cup bread crumbs 
I did 1/2 cup an onion, diced. That's was to much though. Maybe just a 1/4 cup.
1 large egg
Cracked black pepper

Preheat oven to 375. Put all in a bowl and mix all together.


Use scoop or spoon to make meatballs all same size. Mine were about a ping pong ball. Made 24 meatballs. Bake for 23 minutes. Put in sauce (i used jarred and a can of diced tomatoes) and simmer for 10-15 minutes. 
Served over noodles. 

Not IBD friendly but so tasty! My dad and family all really liked it.
